Buying a Vintage MG

If you are considering the purchase of a pre-war or early T series MG, you may already have a firm idea of the model you want. If this is the case we thoroughly recommend you narrow your decision to no more than two models. In view of the wide variety of MGs this will remove confusion and allow you to concentrate on the model chosen. The resume that follows shortly will give you some useful information on individual types, but before studying them the following chart will be essential in determining your basic requirement.
Price Guide
Clearly individual cars have varying degrees of finish and often an unrestored car will have a quantity of new spares with it, or the restoration may have partially commenced. These factors will alter individual prices between maximum and minimum bands set by the market. Race cars command no set price.
