This early MG TA is one of the much rarer models with the wider petrol tank and attractive narrow rear wings and is an all-matching numbers car that has been totally restored from the chassis up between 2007 and 2014. The rebuild is both bodily and mechanically superb , with a fully rebuilt engine, new wood, rebuilt steering and a full dash, all correct and fully restored.  The car is noted as having covered only 400 miles since rebuild , and is evidenced by the original chronometric speedo reading.  The powerful 1272 cc engine is clean and correctly detailed with original engine and guarantee tags all in place.

The paint job is 100 point, in deep Ocean blue with contrasting blue Connolly leather, new wool carpets and unused black canvas weather equipment as originally supplied.    The dashboard is correct in every respect and discreet indicators are lost in the side lights and twin lens original ST 38 rear lights.  The wheels are rebuilt with new tyres;  and following work in our shop, comes fully engine serviced, brakes overhauled and any minor faults rectified to give you a lovely touring car for the summer and one that allows you into numerous events not open to its post war TC brother.

Don't hestitate to ask further questions,  and try to get to view this at the earliest opportunity,  on or from Sat. 30th June.
